Topos hosts weekly events, both online and in-person in our Berkeley office.
The Topos Colloquium
The Topos Institute Colloquium is a virtual talk series features world-leading experts in mathematics, computer science, technology ethics, and other topics relevant to the Topos mission and community. Past speakers include technology ethicist David Danks, mathematical physicist John Baez, and mathematician Emily Riehl.
We usually meet over Zoom on Thursdays at 17:00 UTC. Talks are recorded, and remain available on our YouTube channel.
The Berkeley Seminar
The Topos Institute Berkeley Seminar is an informal in-person seminar based in our Berkeley office. All are welcome to attend.
The talks begin at 4pm PT on Mondays with cookies and other refreshments available at 3:30pm.
