What invites us into collective inquiry?

Abstract

Before Topos, David and Brendan worked together as researchers at MIT. In many ways, our vision for Topos grows out of our experiences doing research together in the rooms of the MIT math department. With David soon moving to Austin, we sat down and reflected on how we have practiced inquiry together over the years, and how these habits are part of Topos’ strength as a place for excellent research.
In this discussion, we’ll explore ways we facilitate collective tending to questions at Topos. We hope that by articulating these ways we engage, we will invite you all to help us stabilise the parts that resonate, strengthening our culture of collective inquiry at Topos and beyond.
