Blake Borgeson is an entrepreneur, scientist, and leader in AI safety and biotechnology. He co-founded and was CTO of Recursion Pharmaceuticals, a publicly-traded pioneering tech-bio company using automated experiments and machine learning for drug discovery. Blake helped lead the Machine Intelligence Research Institute (MIRI) for four years and remains on both MIRI’s and Recursion’s boards. He earned a PhD at UT Austin applying machine learning to proteomics. Blake has been a key early investor and advisor for innovative startups and nonprofits. Through his GoodForever Foundation, he aims to help humanity create a thriving future while navigating massive technological progress.
