Another few months, another CatColab release! In this post I’ll speak about some new features and fixes found in v0.6: Starling.
Postdoctoral Researcher
Maximilien Péroux is a postdoctoral researcher at the Topos Institute. He likes to use abstract mathematics to find structural ways of thinking about objects that arise in topology, algebra, and computation. His research draws on algebraic topology, higher category theory, algebraic K-theory, and theoretical computer science, with a particular interest in algebraic structure, trace methods, and algebraic data types. At Topos, he is interested in bringing these tools to questions about dynamic systems, language, and computation. Before joining Topos, Maximilien held postdoctoral positions at Michigan State University and the University of Pennsylvania. He received his PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
